Dog Scarves
Accessories for dogs are heating up. We are specifically looking into dress up collars and scarves today. The most important thing when choosing a bandana, scarf, or any of these accessories is to ensure that your dog is happy and comfortable wearing them. Now, we’re not in a cold climate by any means, but if the weather is chilly or if you’re in air conditioning, some of these neck-wear can be a quick and easy way to help them retain a bit of warmth. If you’re out and about in the heat, a way to help them feel cool is to dip them in some water first before putting them on (of course, these are more for the bandana and scarves). Otherwise, it’s usually just for dress up and to your dog, it is more likely they prefer being nude.
Recently, we made purchase of a scarf from a local business named @CraftsWithRobin via Instagram and they have some really nice and unique designs. We chose a beautiful Japanese Wave design that speaks to our Japanese heart and for obvious vanity reasons. Kuro loves red and we’re happy to oblige. We would love to support local when it comes to custom, unique or handcrafted items where possible, especially since this one was tailored and custom-fit for Kuro. They have a variety of fabrics and designs to choose from, all made-to-order and to fit your dog. They can even do custom made ones, just get in touch with them.
Also, here are some other generic ones that are available online:
