Easter may be over, but don’t let that stop you from surprising your dog with a Surprise Egg!

Easter is a Christian holiday celebrating Jesus Christ returning from the dead. For Christians, it is the holiest day of the year. Some people who are not Christians celebrate it as a cultural holiday. And like all good pet pawrents, we would love to celebrate Easter with our beloved family. For sure, it's another time of year to include your dog for another round of festive cheer. We’d like to share some dos and don’ts for this season.

DON’TS
Never Overdo
It’s easy to get carried away ourselves, but make sure you don’t overfeed your dog. As we all know, it’s easier to put on than to lose weight! When feeding Kuro Snacks, please observe the 10% rule as best possible.

Keep Candy Away
Don’t leave candy lying around. Many sweets these days contain Xylitol which is an artificial sweetener. Avoid this as it is very toxic for your dog.

Keep Chocolates Away
Chocolates are really bad for dogs. They contain a harmful toxin called Theobromine that is a poison for your dog and can be fatal. It’s best to keep them under lock and key.

Easter Baskets or Hampers
Aside from the food in these baskets or hampers that might not be good for your dog, be careful, as the baskets may splinter and cause many problems for your dog’s gums, teeth and gut.

Avoid Some Festive Plants
It may be time to decorate your home but consider avoiding Amaryllis, Daffodils, Lilies, and Tulips. These are harmful to your dogs.

DOS
Easter Dress Up
We know you have been saving up those bunny ears or bunny pet hats for the occasion. But you can also consider some really adorable bunny outfits. Just make sure your dog is cool with playing dress-up. Some dogs can get real stressed over it. Don’t forget to include a matching Carrot Chew Toy.

Easter Egg Hunt
Do an egg hunt with your dog. But don’t use the decorative and festive plastic eggs as they can break and cause problems for your dogs’ teeth, gums, throats and insides. If you must use them, make sure you watch them like a hawk and don’t them chew or break them. Instead, give them hard-boiled eggs. But you have to be careful not to overdo them as good as they are, they contain a lot of calories, try hard-boiled Quail’s Eggs instead as they are smaller and serve as a light snack.

A Spot At The Table or A New Feeding Station
We certainly love to humanize our dogs. You can set a place at the table for them to let them feel even more included. However, if your dog develops bad habits fast, perhaps it would be best to give them a new feeding station instead.
