If your dog eats too much, it may experience indigestion, so do watch out for that. Thyme may also slow blood clotting, so it is believed that it might increase the risk of excess bleeding during and after surgery. Consequently, if your dog is scheduled for surgery or has undergone a surgical procedure, don’t give thyme.
