Can dogs eat Wheatgrass? Wheatgrass is a nutrient-dense type of plant in the wheat family. It is purported to have many health benefits and contains a large range of vitamins, amino acids, chlorophyll, fiber, and enzymes. There are no known toxicities or problems associated with giving wheatgrass to dogs (and cats). But feeding too much may influence your pet to regurgitate or throw up.

Wheatgrass for dogs and its core benefit is to aid your dog's digestion with a bit of extra fiber that helps to keep things moving along, though it also aids in good bowel health as a natural cleanser. It is rich in magnesium too.

It is also a good source of vitamins B, C and E, to strengthen the immune system and prevent heart disease. Chlorophyll, to promote healthy muscle tissue and blood.
